Releasing Milk & Honey

"Honey and milk are under your tongue." - Song of Solomon 4:11
In the Old Covenant, the land flowing with milk and honey was a physical place ----- the Promised Land. It wasn't just a land 'full' of milk and honey. It was a land 'flowing'... In other words, there was more than enough to enjoy and at the same time, to give away to the people around them.
"I have said I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, to a land flowing with milk and honey." - Exodus 3:17
The Israelites were the descendants of Abraham who enjoyed the Promised Land. God first gave the promise to Abraham (Genesis 15:18-21); and He reminded Isaac (Genesis 26:3) and Jacob (Genesis 28:13).
The Old was a foreshadow of the New. In the New Covenant, the Promised Land is now the Promised Spirit (Galatians 3:14). It is no longer a physical place, but a spiritual reality.

Every believer has the Promised Spirit within him. It is flowing from within him like a river (John 7:38). In other words, he has more than enough to enjoy and to give away to the people around him. This 'milk and honey' speaks of abundance.
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the ABUNDANCE of the heart his mouth speaks. - Luke 6:45 (emphasis added)
Since 'honey and milk' is under our tongue, we can release abundance with our words.
For the believer, abundance is not from without. It is from within. It doesn't flow from the physical, natural, visible and external circumstance. It flows from the spiritual, supernatural, invisible and internal reality. It flows from within our spirit, through our soul (mind, emotions and will), through our body (tongue ----- words) to our external reality.
In other words, wherever we go, we will see people healed; we will see whatever we do prospers. It doesn't depend on others. Neither does it depend on the economy and the market. It depends on the kingdom of God from within us and how we perceive it.
Instead of praying, 'God, is this job from you?' or 'God, should I minister to this person?', make a decision to believe that He is WITH you whichever job you are inclined to take, and whoever you minister to.
Instead of separating God from you, live from the reality that He is in you and with you wherever you go. For the two have become one with no separation. Christ IN you is the Hope of glory.
